CFE Virtual Workshop - Inspiring Woodland Creation

New growth Hawthorn

Woodlands can only deliver benefits to you, nature, society and the environment if they are carefully planned using the UK Forest Standard framework and actively managed which will also help keep them healthy and resilient.

Trees are proving to be a useful tool for farmers to integrate into their business in the coming years and have been shown to provide a host of benefits for farming, society, and the wider environment. With the help of the Forestry Commission, the CFE will be holding an online webinar on Thursday 20th of October showing the variety of ways trees can be used in your business, whether it be making use of an unproductive corner of your land, livestock grazing, or agroforestry. You will be able to speak directly to the Forestry Commission's Southwest Business Development Advisors, Pollyanna Harries and Jack Houston, about what funding is available, tree benefits, do's and don'ts, and more.
