The CFE are thrilled to be working with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust and Defra for the 3rd year in a row. Entry closes on the 30th of September. The final awards will take place in November, but still to be confirmed as either virtual or in person in accordance to any changes in Government regulations regarding Covid-19

"What’s going on in my Farmyard"

This webinar will focus on helping Spray Operators to apply plant protection products (PPP's) safely and to best practice. The VI have four short presentations to set the scene and introduce innovative solutions in this area, before VI Chair Phil Jarvis and the speakers field questions from the audience.

A Countryside Cop will be held on the 11th to 15th of October to allow the rural community to come together and showcase the opportunities that are available and the contribution already being made to reach Net Zero. There will be a variety of events available in person and online for you to attend through the week.

Anglian Water are continuing our catchment management work this autumn focused around metaldehyde stewardship.
Metaldehyde will be phased out in the coming months and Anglian Water has case studies showing the effectiveness of the alternative Ferric Phosphate

Low Carbon Agriculture 2022 nfuonline header _80338

In association with the NFU and supported by the CFE the Low Carbon Agriculture Show is confirmed to take place on the 8th to 9th of March 2022 in Stoneleigh. The UK is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 and the agricultural sector is uniquely placed to be part of the solution. This event, is all about how this will be delivered.
