CFE, NFU and NFYFC collaborate on Climate Change Challenge

The NFU and CFE have partnered with The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) on a competition to encourage positive climate change action by young farmers.

The competition invites next generation farmers to record a three-minute video on how the industry can step up to the challenge of NetZeo2040.

#BackBritishFarmingDay 2020 huge success

NFU celebrates the success of Back British Farming Day on September 9th, which saw Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Labour Leader Kier Starmer and many more MPs wearing wheat pin badges in PMQs in the House of Commons.

Virtual Field Day - Intergrates Pest Management  in Field Veg

Join CFE partner LEAF to hear from four experts in the field about how they use the eight principles of Integrated Pest Management to help produce healthy, hearty veg through the year and round the country.

The panel will give short presentations on their areas and experience of IPM, followed by discussion and questions.

Webinars planned to showcase unique presenters from around the world

CFE and working with Anglian Water, in discussion with The Land App, to plan a series of webinars for autumn/winter 2020.

These will tie into the 5 pillars of CFE but will also aim to offer something different than usually found at events; taking viewers on a journey by highlighting different ways of doing things from speakers who are top of their field. This will encompass presenters from agriculture, sports and popular media.
