Manures are an important resource to all farmers or landowners, they provide nutrients that could reduce your bagged fertiliser costs, and organic matter that will improve the condition of your soil and help crop growth and performance. If you want more information on how to maximise your manures, download the Tried & Tested Think Manures guide here

The Forest for Cornwall team would like to hear from you if you are exploring the options for planting trees on your land. They can help with an initial discussion, site visits, funding information and offer general advice and support with suitable planting as part of the ambition to expand tree cover by 8,000ha in Cornwall.

They can also help put you in touch with other organisations for specialist support and advice so that trees can be an integrated part of your farm business. Forest For Cornwall are planning a series of public events to raise awareness and share information – on planting schemes, grant funding and agroforestry.

Please get in touch with FFC via their Forest for Cornwall Contact Form. You can also sign up to the FFC newsletter for updates on future landowner events and news about the project.

The CFE have created an Instagram account to showcase the achievements made by landowners that have worked with the CFE and our partners! We hope to use this as an opportunity to engage the public and bring awareness of the environmental efforts made on farms across the country.
