Bee Connected_51699

BeeConnected is a free, web-based system that can be used via a desktop, laptop computer, tablet or smartphone. You register as either a bee keeper or grower and through using the anonymous online mapping system you record where your hives are located or when and where you plan to spray your fields.

Bee keepers registered through BeeConnected will then receive notifications of any upcoming spraying happening within 5km of their hives.

The Farming Advice Service webinar from this month is available on demand here

In this webinar Alice De Soer from Rural Response Ltd and Janet Hughes, Programme Director for the Future Farming and Countryside Programme at Defra explain future farm support schemes and funding under the Agricultural Transition Plan 2021-2024.

I am a graduate from the University of Exeter and I recently joined CFE in the beginning of 2021. I have been getting to grips with the work that the CFE has been doing in the months leading up to me joining and also planning future projects with our partners.

Due to the pandemic much of our work will continue to be virtual until government restrictions are eased, but we still aim to bring you information and resources through our newsletters, webinars and online workshops to name a few.

Please do get in touch, your suggestions are greatly appreciated and if there is an event you think we should attend, please let me know here
