These events will concentrate on how to deliver the best management for arable birds and wildlife alongside commercial farming. There will be an indoor session with speakers from different sectors of the farming industry to discuss the merits of arable options such as wild bird mix and nectar plots, their establishment, management and agronomy. The opportunities for funding these options under Environmental Stewardship schemes and how they can contribute to the Campaign for the Farmed Environment (CFE) will also be discussed. After lunch there will be a farm walk, giving you the opportunity to look at a range of options on the ground and discuss their practical management issues.
