It brings together the best industry-agreed advice to provide you with everything you need to make the right decisions for your farm and the environment. (This website is currently under development and will be relaunched in Spring 2014)

Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) delivers practical solutions and targeted support to enable farmers and land managers to take voluntary action to reduce diffuse water pollution from agriculture to protect water bodies and the environment. CSF have developed a number of guides and cards with useful advice for farmers.

Farming Advice Service provides advice to help you improve the economic and environmental performance of your farm.

Woodland Trust promotes planting trees to support productive agriculture. Woodland Trust offer free professional support and advice to help you plant and manage trees in ways that benefit your business.

Hedgelink provides information for farmers and other land managers on hedgerow management. Including leaflets on: The Complete Hedge Good Management Guide, The Complete Hedge Management Guide for Farmland Birds, and Managing Hedges for Bumblebees, Bats, Dormice, Hedgehogs, Grass snakes, Hairstreak butterflies, for Dead Wood Insects and Hedge Ditches for Invertebrates

Plantlife have produced a guide to managing plant species in arable habitats.

Amphibian and Reptile Conservation have produced a guide on how great crested newts can gain Stewardship points for farms.

EBLEX has produced the Sheep Carbon Footprint Tool (log in required). EBLEX has worked with The E-CO2 Project to offer this innovative tool to help sheep farmers assess how certain actions on their farm either adversely or positively affect their carbon footprint. By adjusting inputs, you can see how outputs are affected and so help strike the best balance for your farm to help maximise returns and minimise environmental impact. EBLEX have also produced the Improving Pasture for Better Returns manual.

Farming Futures can help you prepare for the impacts of climate change and the opportunities for your business. The site includes a library of fact sheets, including an introduction to what climate change is, how it will affect agriculture and how you can prepare and respond.
