We would like to invite you to a FREE farm walk focusing on water and wildlife. We will look at how grant funding can help you create and protect features and better manage water on your farm.

Please meet at Rowsley Village Hall DE4 2EE at 11am. After lunch, there will be a farm walk at Wye Farm DE4 2EB, by kind permission of Mr Michael Burnett.

At the event you will:

  • See how farm wildlife can thrive in a variety of habitats and learn how simple steps can improve your farm for biodiversity

  • Hear about the Severn Trent Environmental Protection Scheme (STEPS) grant helping to fund water related capital improvements on your farm

  • Learn about new Farming Rules for Water and how these apply to you

  • Enjoy a FREE delicious locally sourced lunch

Speakers will include CFE, Severn Trent Water, and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
