Funding for Farmyards

This event on 6 March, by kind permission of Glyn Hughes at Lower Green Farm, Pembridge, will look at options to improve yards and farm infrastructure, and ways to reduce emissions to air and water, reducing pollution.

There will opportunity to see a covered feeding area, improvements made to slurry store, tracks and fencing, and hear about ammonia mitigation measures.

Speakers will include Sharon Chisholm from the Environment Agency, local staff from Catchment Sensitive Farming and the Wye and Usk Foundation, and Caroline Hanks (CFE).  

Teas and coffees on arrival from 10am. Light lunch provided. BASIS points applied for.
