Beacon Farmers

To help demonstrate the Campaign in practice in Norfolk, our beacon farmers are willing to show how they have implemented biodiversity measures on their land. These measures are specifically tailored to fit in with their production targets while still supporting the diversity of wildlife, plants and resources on the land.

Can you tell me why farmland hedges are being cut at this time of year, when thry are laden with fruits? It happened in the same places in previous years. I wrote to Defra last year, but all they can do is make recomendations to land owners, they do not seem to take much notice in Norfolk. If anyone is interested I am willing to show them what I am talking about.
