Alison studied agriculture at Bangor University and then joined a Yorkshire agronomy company, achieving BASIS
and FACTS qualifications. BETA Training followed and after the launch of the new Single Payment Scheme in 2005,Alison chose to specialise in SPS, Cross compliance and agri-environment advice.

Beacon Farmers

To help demonstrate the Campaign in practice in East Yorkshire, our beacon farmers are willing to show how they have implemented biodiversity measures on their land. These measures are specifically tailored to fit in with their production targets while still supporting the diversity of wildlife, plants and resources on the land.
