The CFE will have a presence at the Agribusiness Conference, hosted by the AIC. This year’s Agribusiness 2012 theme is “The BIG Issue” and will focus on some of the specific campaigns that AIC sector heads are lobbying about, both in the UK and at the European Commission. Topics will include: climate change, biotechnology, food security, sustainable intensification, water framework directive, campaign for the farmed environment etc.
The conference has also already attracted some high profile speakers including the Minister of State for Agriculture – Jim Paice, Peter Kendall – President NFU, Dennis Turner – Head of Finance HSBC, and George Lyon MEP.
