Theme Two: Farmland birds

11 Aug 2010

Many of the Campaign options support bird life on your farm and can be highly successful when introduced in the right location and combined with other measures.

SkylarkIt is up to you to decide what options can work best for you and your local agronomist and/or FWAG advisor will be able to help.

Birds need farmers and farmland. Birds are an excellent indicator of the overall bio-diversity and health of your land as they sit high up in the food chain.

The Campaign recognises the importance of farmers to bird populations. Your management skills and knowledge of your land will help to increase bird numbers.
