Theme Three: Farming for farm wildlife

11 Aug 2010

Many of the Campaign options support wildlife on your farm and can be highly successful when introduced in the right location, combined with other measures.

Pollen and nectar 1It is up to you to decide what options can work best for you and your local agronomist and/or FWAG advisor will be able to help.

Wildlife requires a balanced and varied approach that ensures a variety of habitats. Pollinators can be encouraged by establishing a network of flower rich habitats and amphibians and small mammals benefit from buffering and protecting water on your land.

For more information on what you can do to support wildlife on your holding please view Farming for Farm Wildlife documents to the left of the page.

If you are in one of the 22 target counties then please contact your local campaign coordinator first by going to our Your Area pages.
